The Eating Kangaroo

Australian animals are unique and fascinating, and tourists flock from all over the world just to see them.

I also love looking at kangaroos, particularly because I find them incredibly expressive.

Even though, typically, you tend to only see kangaroos doing one of four things – eating, lying down, hopping around or standing still – we still love to watch them.

The kangaroo is such an iconic Australian animal.

Therefore, my kangaroo garden sculptures had to truly represent the features, including the finer details, of these much-loved marsupials.

It just wasn’t possible to stop at one steel kangaroo and I have incorporated several into my collection, which now includes the Standing Kangaroo, Lounging Kangaroo and Roadkill Kangaroo.

My collection of kangaroo garden sculptures have proven to be incredibly popular and are now among my most sought-after pieces.

They have been displayed at a number of art exhibitions.

They have also won several awards, including first prize in the ‘Estate’ category at the 2018 Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show. My kangaroo garden sculptures also claimed the People’s Choice Award at the 2018 Lake Light Sculpture Festival in Jindabyne.
